There are three ways to move units in The Fantastic War: mouse, keyboard, or “Send” command. Let’s use the keyboard. Keyboard movement in The Fantastic War is a snap. Click on the stack, click ([shift] - click for multiple units) the unit you want to move from the Stack List, then use the keys shown on the left to move the unit(s) in any one of eight directions.
So I’m going to make sure that caravan I just loaded up is selected from the Stack List and move him over to the forest to the left of my home.
To “Send” the unit(s), select the units from the Stack List. Then select “Send” from the Command Menu. Next, click on the square you want them to go to. The computer sends them along what it thinks is the shortest path between the source and destination no matter how many turns it takes.
You can also drag selected units along with the mouse. This is more difficult then the other methods.
